The STA Genomics lab has developed proprietary methods for marker assisted selection. We have identified molecular markers linked to the genes which cause a specific trait, for example a disease resistance gene. Using the marker, STA Genomics can identify plants carrying the gene, including the zygosity, even in the absence of the selection agent and at any stage of plant growth. Unique sample collection, in-depth result reporting and superior analysis support all ensure that quality and reliable results are returned to you.
